Lee doubles up on Squire Danagher Billy Lee completed a 12/1 double as Squire Danagher followed up a maiden win here in January by taking the Sky Bet Build A Bet Handicap. The son of Australia out of a Deep Impact mare started handicap life here off a mark of 77 and challenged up the centre of the track in the straight. The Andy Oliver-trained gelding struck the front about a furlong out before keeping on well to beat Celtic Revival by a length with Banana Three just a short-head further back in third. Lee was also on the mark earlier aboard 9/4 favourite Ferrybank. Oliver said, “After the last race, we took the opportunity to geld him. He actually took it quite well, so he didn't miss much. We came here with an idea of a campaign on grass. Nice to get it done and we will look forward to the main campaign now. "He's a very relaxed horse, but then sometimes we wonder would he be too relaxed. Around the back there was no distress signals and then, when it opened up, he just came and picked up. "It was very simply done, and Billy knows the horse. Lovely ride and just produced him well. "He got there early enough and was just doing enough. That's not a bad attribute in a racehorse, as long as when they do get to the front they still stay there!" Quotes by Michael Graham
