Knight gives Mullins & McManus quick brace Tom Mullins completed a quick double for owner JP McManus when Oscar Knight repelled the late surge of Undressed in the two-and-a-half mile maiden hurdle at Punchestown. Oscar Knight tracked Sunsetstorise in the early stages before taking over after the fourth last flight. The 6/5 favourite skipped a few lengths clear going to the second last, under Mark Walsh, and looked in control turning for home. He had to get down to work on the run-in however as Undressed stayed on to press him and pushed him to half a length at the line. The winner wasn't scoring out of turn having been runner-up on his two previous starts. "He jumped great and was happy all the way," said Mullins. "He just got a bit lonely in front. He wanted a big jump at the last and he came up for him. He'll go chasing next year. "I'd say he'll go to Fairyhouse for either a handicap or a novice and maybe come back here for the festival."
