Co Tipperary trainer Tom Hogan saddled Kirbybroguelantern to win The Woodlands Park 100 Brown Lad Handicap Hurdle Grade C by an impressive 12 lengths under David Casey and owned by Brogue Lanterns Syndicate.
Winning trainer Hogan said afterwards, "He likes going left handed, he won here the last day so we brought him back here again today. His jumping has improved and he was more of a professional today. We were beating a lot of horses who were having their first run of the season and my horse was 100% fit. I don't know where to go next with him but it was great he won a race like this for the Kirby family."
