Scolboa King backed from 12/1 this morning into his returned 8/1 justified the confidence of his supporters by making all in the Flemings Super Valu Handicap Hurdle.
Emmet Mullins made all aboard the Sean Treacy-trained son of King's Theatre, owned by the Carlow handler's wife, Geraldine, and he found plenty when asked from before the last to go on and comfortably score by four lengths from Wellforth
Treacy said: "We'll look at the two mile five furlong handicap hurdle for him on the Saturday of Galway. He'll eventually go chasing. He stays very well and he likes a slog."
For Mullins this was a first winner since he triumphed aboard Askmeroe at Limerick on May 4th.
