Jazz Toes dances in under Codd in the bumper Jazz Toes continued his steady progression when taking the BetVictor Guaranteed Run For Your Money (Pro/Am) Flat Race at Clonmel. The Peter Fahey-trained gelding made a nice step forward from his Roscommon debut when third at Killarney last time, and continued on an upward curve here at odds of 5/1. Jamie Codd’s mount was never too far from the pace, and took control from over a furlong out to beat newcomer Dads Lad by three and a half lengths. Mezyan was a further half a length back in third, while 6/5 favourite Lady Moon was still well in contention when going wrong in the straight and was pulled up. Codd said, "He is by Epaulette and is the first winner Peter has trained for Paul McKeon. "He ran a bit keen on his first run at Roscommon and he is a horse who likes to get on with it. The last two days we jumped him out nice and handy and he has improved from Killarney and loves that good ground. "He'll be a nice fun spring/summer/autumn type of horse." (TW & AM)
