It's Time Again ran right away from her rivals for a clear-cut success in the first division of the extended 2m5f opportunity handicap hurdle at Ballinrobe.
Dillon Maxwell steered her closer on the outer at the third last and the mare took a narrow lead at the next.
She was on good terms with herself and had the opposition on the stretch approaching the last. She kicked clear and jumped it well to have the race at her mercy turning for home.
The daughter of Shirocco was kept up to her work and put them to the sword by nine lengths at 22/1. She certainly didn't go unbacked having been 50/1 this morning. Eddies Pride came in second at 16/1 with Force Of Forces third at 22/1.
Trainer David Barry said: “I’d say the (good) ground made an awful difference to her. She ran poorly at Clonmel a couple of times and we said we’d put her away and wait for better ground.
“She’s a small mare so I told Dillon to keep her out wide as she gets a bit claustrophobic when she’s in around horses.”
This was Barry's first track winner since the 2018/2019 season.
