There is plenty of interest for racing fans today with jumping action at Cork plus the regular Flat meeting under the lights at Dundalk, while Irish-trained horses are also well represented at Cheltenham.

There are a total of ten Irish runners in the Glenfarclas Crystal Cup Cross Country Handicap Chase (3.00) with Gordon Elliott rsquo;s quintet including Delta Work and Coko Beach, while Gavin Cromwell and Joseph O’Brien both have two runners.

Elliott’s Wingmen takes on the Nicky Henderson-trained That’s Nice in the opening 2m1f novice hurdle (12.10) while John McConnell’s Seddon is near the head of the market for the 2m4f veterans handicap chase at 2.25.

The going at Cork is currently described as yielding on the hurdle course and yielding, good to yielding in places, on the chase course following a dry spell over the past few days.

A seven-race card gets underway at midday.
