Amateur rider Johnny Barry recorded his second winner in a week and his seventh in total when steering Too Late To Sell to a maiden win, on his 22nd start, in the Ingoldsby (Q.R.) Handicap Chase at Punchestown today.
After the win, winning trainer Francis Flood's son Fran Flood stated “he (Too Late To Sell) had good enough form in handicap hurdles for a big horse and we always thought there would be a day in him.
“We ended up running him at sharp tracks as that's where the races were but he really needed a big galloping track to help him find his feet early on and not take him off the bridle.
“Hopefully he'll progress; he wouldn't go in very deep ground but would go with a nice cut.”
