In-form All Class supplements Navan victory First-reserve All Class got a run in the concluding mile and six handicap at Gowran Park and took full advantage in the hands of Nathan Crosse for trainer David Dunne. She landed a major gamble over a similar trip at Navan in March, which saw her price contract sharply for this assignment once she was a confirmed runner. The 9/4 favourite began to reel in the leaders off the home bend and steadily worked her way to the front coming to the final furlong. She kept on stoutly to win snugly by two and a half lengths from Stellify (11/2). Believe Jack (33/1) finished third just ahead of 11/1 shot Mountain Fox. Crosse said: “She's done it well. She came into today lovely and fit, she was still a little green the last day but she knew her job properly there today. “She ran out a comfortable winner and I was happy enough. She loves that ground, the more rain the better, and she ploughs her way through it. “She's gone up 10lb for the last day and will probably go up another bit for today. Hopefully it's not too much and we'll get another one.” Additional reporting by Gary Carson
