The Troytown November 22nd Handicap Hurdle saw a very easy winner in the Davy Fitzgerald trained Operation Houdini after he ran out a two length winner in the hands of Niall ‘Slippers’ Madden.
Madden settled his mount in behind the leaders and took up the lead travelling well two from home and kept on strongly from the last for a very comfortable win over Casey Supreme
“We will comeback here for the Troytown in a fortnights time. We decided to take advantage of his hurdle rating and thankfully everything worked out well”, said Fitzgerald afterwards.
