Dermot Weld's Hightimeyouwon took the honours at 17/2 in the seven-furlong handicap at Cork.
He raced in rear before finding his stride approaching the two pole and was ridden to lead arriving at the final furlong.
The Garswood gelding soon had his rivals cooked as he won snugly by a length and three quarters. Prisoner's Dilemma (12/1) came in second by a head from 9/2 joint favourite Real Appeal
Jockey Oisin Orr said: "The (second-time) blinkers are to keep him focused more than anything and when you get down and ask him he does try.
"The straight seven suited him perfectly and he enjoyed the ground, so hopefully he can go and win another one."
This was Hightimeyouwon's second career success having got off the mark in a Naas maiden in June.
