Hello Power was played widest of all to take the mile claimer on the card at Gowran Park for trainer Darren Bunyan.
He stayed on well for Gavin Ryan racing to the final furlong and soon grabbed the initiative. The 7/1 chance ran on strongly for Ryan to come in by a handy length and a half.
The placed horses - Celtic Crown (1/1 favourite) and Velvet And Vine (10/3) in second and third respectively - tussled away on the inner without threatening the winner at the business end.
Ryan said: “Darren said dropping back in distance isn’t going to inconvenience her too much as she’s a filly in her work is well able to travel.
“He said you might be tempted to make plenty of use of her, but take your time as she likes passing horses. He said ride her to finish out and she’s done just that.”
Bunyan was also due to run You Owe Me Money who was withdrawn due to being in season.
Jenny Lynch claimed Velvet And Vine for €14,000
