Three times a winner last term, the Martin Hassett-trained Harry’s Hill (15/2) notched his first win of 2023 in the the Danny Trundle Handicap.

From stall 19, the-five-year old tracked the leaders on the stands’ side before Wayne Hassett allowed him to stride on in front under two furlongs out. He kept on well to beat a couple who raced on the far side, Lokada and Mymomentintime by a length and half and a nose.

The winning rider said:- “That's my second winner, I'm flying, thank God.

“Martin is my grandfather's brother, we've a small crew at home and we're flying it at the minute. We've a small few horses but they are going well.

“He was running well on soft ground, and that isn't really for him. Coming up here it was better ground so I thought he had a chance today and as soon as I gave him the word 'go' he flew home.”
