Halford & Foley on double Street After winning the third with Yulong Xionghu, Shane Foley and Mick Halford double their score with Claregate Street in the Two-Mile-House Parish Handicap. Placed on her last two efforts, the daughter of Helmet was expected to go close this evening, and went off the 5/1 joint-favourite. In a share of the lead early on, the bay victor was soon settled in mid-division. She took closer order on the approach to the straight and was pushed along to lead with under two furlongs to race, keeping on well from there to score by three parts of a length. The Ken Condon trained Future Frontier ran on well to take second at 20/1 under Andrew Breslin, while Mick Halford also saddled the third, and that Miss Snossyboots (33/1) who was another three lengths away under Conor Hoban. Always Dancing (10/1) completed the placings for Ger Lyons and Colin Keane, while the other joint-favourite Sharp Operator (10s this morning) was a well-beaten twelfth. Halford said afterwards: "She's a lovely big scopey filly, and is very genuine and stays well. I got a bit worried when the ground went soft at Ballinrobe (non-runner there) last night, and we had the option of coming here. "I'm delighted for the owners (John Heffernan and Patrick Hyland) who are neighbours of mine and have been very patient. It's great when you have a filly that has the heart to do it - it means everything." STEWARDS REPORT * The Stewards fined Brendan W. Duke, trainer, €130 for failing to notify the Registry Office that his charge Great Uncle had been gelded. Additional reporting by Alan Magee
