The Bulmers Original (Q.R.) Handicap Hurdle went to Gotthenod (12/1) who saw out the three-mile trip really well under Tom Harney.
The daughter of Famous Name tracked the leaders before hitting the front on the approach to the second-last. From that point she kept on well to account for Lessofdnegativity and Willaston by two and a half lengths and the same.
This was a fifth success over hurdles for the eight-year-old.
Winning trainer Ross O'Sullivan said: "It is great to get another winner for Tommy (Ward) and she has been a very consistent filly and has hit form again. She won well in Kilbeggan and things didn't go right for her the last day when she made a very bad mistake.
"She handled the ground well, the step up in trip was no problem and at that level is competitive. We'll keep her going and she could also jump a fence.
"I'm delighted to give Tom (Harney) a winner as he is my right-hand man and is with me a long time."
