A photographic portrait of Jockey Davy Russell and the Dr Ronan Lambe owned 2014 Gold Cup winner Lord Windermere was presented to US President Barack Obama on St Patrick's Day.

Equine Photographer Martina Regan was commissioned to capture on camera the prominence of the thriving horse racing and breeding industry in Ireland.

The stunning image was shot at Jim Culloty's Churchtown yard and captures the bond between horse and rider. "It is one of honesty, trust, mutual respect and above all the will to win," explained Martina Regan.
