The busy Bank Holiday period, which sees seven Irish meetings taking place from today up to next Monday, gets underway this evening with the going at Tramore and Down Royal both currently described as good to firm.

There was 9mm of rain at Down Royal yesterday, while Tramore's two-day meeting starts this evening at 5.55pm with a seven-race National Hunt fixture and they will have fresh ground available tomorrow.

Listowel have also had 5mm of rain ahead of their two-day meeting starting on Sunday. The going is currently good (good to yielding in places).

Kilbeggan also hosts a meeting on Sunday, with the midlands venue good to firm following some watering and aerating of the track.

Naas is good to firm (good in places) at present for their meeting on Monday.

The weather forecast is set fair today, although some rain is due tomorrow clearing on Sunday.
