The going has improved following a dry night at Listowel and is now described as yielding to soft for their seven race National Hunt card, with the first due off this afternoon at 2.15pm.

Racing also takes place today at Naas where the going remains good to yielding, yielding in places, for a seven race Flat card beginning at 2.25pm.

By contrast the ground has been watered at Downpatrick ahead of tomorrow's National Hunt meeting, with the going currently good to firm.

The seven race afternoon meeting in the north gets underway at 2.25pm.

The weather forecast is mainly dry for today, with widespread rain moving in tonight and tomorrow.

Looking further ahead the going at Leopardstown, where racing takes place on Friday evening, is good to soft following a wet weekend.

Navan is currently good to firm for their Flat meeting this Saturday afternoon.
