Go Racing switches to Thursdays

The popular 'Go Racing' programme returns to TV3 screens for a 15 week series beginning on 22nd April.

Highflyer Ireland will again produce the new series, which will continue to provide viewers and racing enthusiasts with an insider´s guide to the world of horse racing in Ireland. Brian Gleeson returns as the programme´s presenter, and the half-hour weekly show will be broadcast at 7.30pm on Thursday and repeated at 10.30am on Saturday.

In regards to racing dates this means the programme will run from before the Punchestown National Hunt Festival in April and finish with the Galway racing Festival in July.

'Go Racing on TV3 attracted over 1 million viewers last year and we are confident that the move to primetime on Thursday´s will bring an even larger audience this year', said Michael O´Rourke, Director of Marketing & Communications in HRI.
