Global Equity brings up O'Brien's across-card double Joseph O'Brien's Global Equity really found her stride up the hill in Galway to run out a convincing winner of the fillies' bumper. She found plenty for pressure in third at the two pole and soon moved into second rounding the bend. She stormed into the lead and was in charge at the furlong marker. The 10/3 favourite went further and further clear in the final furlong to hit the line nine lengths to the good. Hill Of Truth finished second at 5/1 with Beth Horan another seven and a half lengths adrift in third at 5/1. Jockey Oakley Brown said: "I rode her at Tipperary and you always have to keep on at her but she is a tough filly. "She just gallops and gallops and gallops and wants a trip, and the soft ground really suits her. "Her best part of the race was the last half furlong and she powered up the hill, but you always have to have a hold of her. "She is lairy but is tough as old boots and keeps finding for you if you don't give up." Global Equity gave Joseph O'Brien an across-the-card double as Punches Cross also won in Wexford.
