There was a treble for Colin Keane and a double for Ger Lyons on the night at Dundalk when Glastonbury Song impressed in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Race.
Keane initiated his hat-trick on Ado McGuinness' Rivellino in the claimer, whilst half-an-hour before Glastonbury Song's success the Qatar Racing Irish number one had taken the maiden for his boss Lyons on Harbour Beacon
After Glastonbury Song had accounted for Asking by two and a half lengths, Keane said: "He does like it (polytrack) and he learned a lot from the last day.
"The Guineas Trial was probably nearly like a first run for him, we couldn't believe how green he was. He's after learning a lot and is after showing us what we thought he could do. He'll improve again from that.
"I'd say (on turf) he's a good-ground horse, good summer ground. He floats on that all-weather track.
"He's definitely a Stakes horse. I'm not sure what calibre just yet though. I think a better race will bring the better out in him. He's after learning a lot there today again.
"The season has started good and hopefully it continues."
