Second Glance gained reward for her consistency when landing the Follow Us On Facebook Handicap Steeplechase at Cork under David Casey.
Charlie Swan 's charge, equipped with cheek-pieces and a tongue-strap, led four out but a big danger was eliminated with the fall of the challenging Alabama Banjo at the second last. From there she went on to see off the staying on Tawrific Laois by two lengths.
A delighted Swan said: "She has been frustrating but she has got there at last. She has been very consistent and she is a very good jumper for a flat-bred filly. She is in the sales next week and we'll see about that. She goes on heavy ground and the drop in class here was a help."
