Gimli lands Punchestown opener Gimli's Rock got off the mark over jumps in the opening 3-Y-O Maiden Hurdle at Punchestown. Tom Treacy sent his mount on turning for home and he kept on well to score by two-and-a-half lengths from Descaro. "It's great to get a winner as I've had so many seconds," said winning trainer Jessica Harrington. "He probably would never have beaten my other horse at Listowel last time but he deserves that. We were sitting waiting on a bit of nice ground. "He'll stay going as he's a fresh horse. I don't think I'll run him back on the Flat again - he's loves that." Harrington is three-handed in tomorrow's mares listed race here and said of her trio:- "With Give It Time it's a question of whether she is ready or not. She's going to have one run and then go over fences. The ground was just too firm recently to run her over fences. "With the others (No One Tells Me and Just Moscow) it's a case of trying to get a bit of black type." Michael Darcy was stood down with bruising to his lower back and foot after a fall from Frosted Grape.
