Getaway Goldie seals Elliott's brace of winners Gordon Elliott doubled up at Downpatrick when Getaway Goldie (9/2jf) came home best in the extended two mile seven handicap chase. Conor McNamara rode a patient race on the six-year-old mare and the pair closed at the last. They hit the front on the run-in and climbed the hill well to score by three lengths. Pat Coyne, 9/2jf, kept on for second with landing a glove on the winner. Arrycan was another half a length back in third at 6/1. Stable representative Lisa O'Neill said: "She seems to be progressing in the right direction, she's after winning a handicap hurdle and a chase. She's doing it really nicely and she's a nice individual and hopefully she can keep going that direction. "She seems to really like the nice bit of ground as well. She enjoyed everything there today and Conor was delighted with her. He said that they went hard early on and he was happy to slot in. She jumped the last well and he was confident coming to the line that he had it. "We've plenty of chances running tomorrow (in Downpatrick) - the likes of Lieutenant Highway, Hurricane Georgie, The Abbey and the bumper horse Country Queen who has only run over hurdles so hopefully she will come back and be competitive in a bumper as well."
