The 2m5f handicap hurdle saw Frazel Express (4/1) win again at Tramore.

The ten-year-old mare, 10lb higher than when winning at the seaside venue in April, had no problem defying her new mark. She travelled well in behind the leaders for Donagh Meyler and led between the final two flights before staying on well to defeat Eric Carmen by two lengths. Ocojohn was another two and three-quarter lengths back third just ahead of the 6/4 favourite Emancipator

It was a double for the winning rider after Eagle Terrace earlier.

Winning trainer Jimmy Barcoe said: “She's won here three times now which is great, and it's great for us to get a second one with her.

“Hopefully we'll come back here in August and we'll see if we can get a run in between.

“She's a very honest, she tries her heart out as you can see, and that was brilliant.”
