Gordon Elliott had doubles on both sides of the Irish Sea this evening, striking at Bellewstown and Sedgefield.
His winners at the Co Meath venue were Boot Camp and The Big Lense with the former taking the feature Bar One Racing Mullacurry Cup Handicap Hurdle.
He sent just two horses across to Sedgefield, and both were successful, with Kuiper Belt initiating his brace in the Jennings Ford Transit Centre Novices’ Hurdle.
Successful on his last three starts, the son of Elusive Quality was sent off a 4/9f chance under Richard Johnson.
He hit the front before two out, and despite a mistake at the last, he kept on well to score by four and a half lengths.
Ravenhill (5/6f) made it four on the day for Elliott, as he ran out an easy winner of the Christian Alexander And WPS Best Dressed Novices' Hurdle.
Also ridden by Richard Johnson, the son of Winged Love led from the sixth flight, and kept on well from before the last to win by eleven lengths.
Elsewhere on the card, Gavin Cromwell was successful with Running In Heels in the Like Sun Racing On Facebook Novices' Handicap Chase (Series Qualifier).
Sent off the 13/8 favourite, the daughter September Storm was left in the lead at the last, and came home forty-one lengths to the good under Brian Hughes.
