The equuip - A Leg Up For Thoroughbred People Beginners Chase at Tipperary saw For Everyone (15/2 from 17/2 on track, and from bigger earlier) land some bets in the hands of Phillip Enright.

Mark McNiff ’s charge comprehensively accounted for Act Of God by four and a quarter lengths for the Sligo trainer’s good patron Brendan Flynn.

The disappointing favourite Lord Royal finished twelve lengths back in third behind a victor that made a lot of the running.

“I was hoping he’d run a good race. Mark was happy with him and thought the 2m3f in Kilbeggan stretched him a bit,” said Enright.

“He’d a run back here on the Flat since and Mark thought he came out of it well and fresh.

“He said he’ll jump and travel wherever you are. He’s a very easy man to ride for and leaves it to yourself.

“Willie’s horse (Lord Royal) has been very disappointing for his mark and Mark thought his horse has improved for jumping fences. He has a great spring to him.

“He’s a summer horse as most of Mark’s are. He’s one of the best out there and I’d love to see him getting some good winter horses as he’s well able to train.

“They have done a good job on the ground here under these temperatures.”

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Don Diablo trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a mistake at the last with a circuit to race and never travelled thereafter.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Lord Royal (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

P. Townend, rider of Lord Royal (FR) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made an abnormal respiratory noise.
