Gesture benefitted from a fine front-running ride by Shane Foley to record a decisive victory in the Greyhound Racing Every Weekend Handicap at Dundalk.
The Eoghan O’Neill-trained gelding also made all when opening his account over the same extended ten furlongs back in February and was able to run here off just a 4lb higher mark.
The 9/2 chance was pushed along early in the straight but had all his rivals stretched and stayed on really strongly inside the final furlong to score by four and three-quarter lengths. Gregorina took the runner-up spot with Cloud Seeker a further four lengths back in third.
Foley also adopted front-running tactics when successful earlier on the evening aboard Make Clear (16/1) in the sprint handicap.
O'Neill said, "He stays and further the better probably. He worked really well the other morning, so we were quite confident that he had improved enough to handle the 4lbs for winning the other day.
"He'll go to Leopardstown next in about three weeks, that's the plan for him - I don't like running horses on heavy ground.
"He's a progressive three-year-old over a trip and you don't know where they will stop."
