Fogarty lands gamble with Benefique Benefique landed a nice touch in the concluding bumper at Downpatrick for Gowran trainer Daniel Fogarty. The newcomer was backed from as big as 8/1 in the morning and was sent off a 5/2 shot on course. Pa Murphy oozed confidence on his mount and she hit the front over two furlongs from home. The daughter of Beneficial went on for a cosy four-length success over Milano Supreme. "She's a right filly and this is a very lucky place for me as her three sisters have all won here," said Fogarty. "She was well fancied and won the way we thought she would. She's very good and is improving the whole time. "She'll have no problem winning a winners' bumpers and she jumps exceptionally well also."
