Fitzgerald enjoys Kilbeggan double Four-time hurdle winner Tullybeg (7/2) got off the mark over fences today, landing Kilbeggan's Belvedere House & Gardens Opportunity Beginners Chase for trainer Gordon Elliott and completing a double for jockey Shane Fitzgerald. The Bective Stud owned seven year old jumped well and went the inside of left-jumping leader and 5/6 favourite Authorized Art, with half a mile to race, before scoring by five and a half lengths from that rival. Elliott wasn't present and Fitzgerald, earlier successful on the Brian Hamilton trained Miss Us O, later said “he jumped savage, you just sit back and enjoy him! “He didn't make a mistake the whole way, he was absolutely foot perfect.
