Lord Fingal made it back-to-back 'track' successes when claiming the hunters chase at Tramore this evening.
Jim Dreaper 's charge, a winner at Downpatrick last month, was sent off 2/1 favourite for the 2m6f contest and ran out a cosy winner.
He kept front-runner Need To Know company in the early stages and was second at halfway.
The seven-year-old, a third winner on the night for sire Brian Boru, disputed before the second last along with Corrigs and went on before the last.
A fine leap at the final fence sealed matters and he powered clear for a seven-length verdict. It was a treble for the winner as he had also landed a point-to-point at Lingstown last month.
"He started off promising but then he developed wind trouble. It just took a while to sort him out but now he has been good for his last few runs," said Dreaper.
"We can look forward to him now as a nice staying chaser for next year. He seems adaptable ground wise but vets tell us heavy ground is hard on horses who have had wind trouble."
Elaine O'Farrell owns the winner with her husband Declan. Elaine is a familiar face at race-meetings throughout the country with her company Race Display, which erects signs for sponsors, as well as supplying number cloths and winners rugs.
