Trainer Johnny Feane is hoping that his consistent Ano Syra can pick up a black type win in the closing months of the season.
The four-year-old, who finished third behind Moss Tucker in the Phoenix Stakes last weekend, has already picked up valuable black type but a win in that class would increase her value further.
While the Dubai Carnival is the long term plan, prior to that, the Kildare born trainer may well allow the daughter of Kodiac take her chance in Group 1 company at the Curragh next month.
Feane said: “She is running consistently and is a right little mare.
“She’s entered in the Group 1 (Flying Five) but the owners want to bring her to Dubai. On some of her form she could run well and nick a place in it.
“I’d love to get her head in front even in a Listed race to get a black type win into her. She’s Group 2 and Group 3 placed and Listed placed.
“The Dubai Carnival early next year is the plan. She’s rated 100 and is a model of consistency.
“In fairness she hasn’t got her ground all year, she wants really fast ground. The last day the ground was too dead for her and Dylan said the wheels were spinning.”
