Fast ground aplenty in Ireland

The next racing in Ireland takes place in Leopardstown on Thursday and the going is good, good to firm in places (watering) after a dry day and 8mm of irrigation.

Mainly dry weather is expected with temperatures rising to 20 degrees by Thursday.

The rail is 10 yards from the innermost Flat line.

Deo Vero, who won her maiden in Roscommon for David Geary, has switched to Donnacha O'Brien and runs in the opening Irish EBF Auction Series Race worth €30,000.

Down Royal races on Friday and then hosts the Ulster Derby on Saturday. The going is good to firm, good in places (watering) following a dry day.

The forecast is for approximately 1-3mm of rain prior to racing.

Limerick also hosts action on the Flat on Saturday and the ground is firm, good to firm in places. Watering to commence as required.

There is the possibility of approximately 7mm of rain Thursday into Friday.
