Farnborough off to the sales in style Farnborough quickened away in fine style to run out a convincing winner of the Manguard Plus Handicap at Leopardstown. The Aidan O'Brien-trained Galileo colt went to post a well supported 4/1 favourite (11/1 in morning) and the result never looked in doubt as he swept to the front turning for home in the mile contest. Killian Hennessy asked his mount to stretch clear over a furlong from home and he went on to post a comprehensive five-length win over San Aer. Stable representative Chris Armstrong said afterwards:- “Killian gave him a lovely ride, the plan was to just let him build into it. “He loves the ground and he's versatile ground-wise. He's a grand, straightforward horse, very honest. “He's off to the sales now, going over to Newmarket and he'll be grand, straightforward, genuine horse for someone to pick up. There are plenty more races in him. It's nice to give Killian another winner.”
