Having been overturned at short odds on her stable debut at Cork back in May, Familiar Dreams got back to winning ways on her second start for Gordon Elliott when taking the concluding Style Evening August 17th(Ladies) Maiden at Tramore.

Again well supported in the market, from 9/4 into 5/4f, the Qatar Racing owned mare justified that position with an ultimately comfortable victory under Aine O'Connor.

Chasing leader Happy Jacky on the opening circuit, O'Connor was content to drop back to 3rd early on the final lap as Make Sunshine briefly held second.

With Winter Fog making rapid headway from rear to take over with half-a-mile to run, O'Connor moved closer on Familiar Dreams, reclaiming second entering the straight before coming through to lead over a furlong out.

Staying on under hands and heels inside the last, the five-year-old had two-and-a-half-lengths to spare at the finish.

Aine O'Connor said: "She bounced back from Cork today and felt amazing, she felt as good as ever. She was only toying with them I suppose. I've never ridden in these silks before but I've had a winner for Gordon and that's my fourth of the campaign now."
