The Philip Rothwell trained Eyeffess opened up his account over hurdles when landing the www.wexfordraces.ie Maiden Hurdle in the hands of Ruby Walsh.
“I am thrilled for the owner Richard Walshe who is one of the best owners you can have. He has two horses in training with me for the past two years and this is his first winner” said a delighted Rothwell.
Rothwell also added, “He will run in a handicap hurdle on good ground if we can find one and if not he will race in conditions beginners chases.”
