Exciting mixed card at Roscommon Racing today takes place at Roscommon where the Grade 3 Kilbegnet EBF Novice Chase is the highlight on an eight-race mixed card beginning at 2.35pm. Recent Listowel winner The Real Article faces eight rivals in the two-mile event including Darwins Fox and Shadow Eile. There was no overnight rain at the mid-western track, and the going is currently described as good (good to firm in places) on the Flat course and good to firm (good in places) on the chase course. The Flat track will be aerated prior to racing. The weather forecast is for outbreaks of rain and drizzle to become more persistent by this evening, and temperatures will again reach a mild 15C to 18C.
