Bulletproof gets up the inner of Kai Li© Photo Healy Racing
Mark Enright timed his run to perfection on Bulletproof as he lunged late to take the first division of the two-mile handicap hurdle at Wexford.
David Kelly 's charge travelled well to track the leaders turning in and Enright nipped up the inside going to the final flight.
The gelding found plenty when asked on the run-in and got his head in front in the closing stages to pip Kai Li by half a length.
The 5/1 winner had looked far from straight forward on his last visit here when finishing fourth.
Owner Michael Cleary was full of praise for the young jockey afterwards:-
"He has loads of ability but can be a bit tricky. Mark got a great tune out of him.
"He said he wasn't going to be beaten once he jumped the last.
"We done a good bit of schooling in Thurles with him and I have to thank manager Pierce Molony."
It was a second winner over hurdles this week for Enright, who looks a claimer to follow.
