Larquebuse got a deserved bumper win to her name, as she took the last at Punchestown, the Black Hills Mares Flat Race, completing a double on the card for Gordon Elliott.
A winner of a point-to-point at Durrow in March of 2018 when trained by Colin Bowe, she made her debut for Cheveley Park Stud and Elliott at Limerick last December.
An eye-catching third on that occasion, she since filled the runner-up spot on her next two starts at Navan and Fairyhouse respectively.
Sent off a 15/8 chance today, the bay victor improved to lead with five furlongs left to race and kept on well in the straight when pushed out by Jamie Codd, going on to score easily by five and a half lengths.
Newcomers Rhyme'n Rhythm (11/8f) and More Info (20/1) finished second and third respectively, with Patrick Mullins aboard the former for his father Willie and the Supreme Horse Racing Club.
"She's a nice big mare and in fairness she's probably never had the ground soft enough or a trip far enough,” said Elliott who was earlier on the mark with Coko Beach
"She's stronger this year. We'll rock on over jumps now, I'd imagine, straight away. She'll win plenty of races and she's a nice mare."
