Eclairage blazes a trail to easily land Dundalk Nursery The Danny Murphy trained Eclairage followed up her recent course and distance win when making all the running to easily land the opening Irishinjuredjockeys.com Nursery Handicap at Dundalk. Similar to last time when registering a first career success, the daughter of Kuroshio was quickly into stride, taking a couple of lengths out of her rivals in the opening furlong. Travelling strongly entering the home straight, jockey Declan McDonogh came stands side on the eventual winner, keeping on well to score by five lengths. Moonhall Lass, the only one to try and give chase, had no more to offer from over a furlong out but stayed on admirably to fill the runner-up position under Colin Keane. Danny Murphy said: "She's really improving that one. "It is when you get the next sprint, it is not there. I must have a look when the next sprint is - January, February, March. "You would (be tempted to go to Britain), but she lies to the right a little bit - that's why I always say let her come (down the stands' side). "She is so quick out of the boxes and she is going places at the minute. "She is developing and is up 15 kilos from the last day." Additional reporting my Michael Graham.
