Easy for Game in Tramore opener Easy Game had an easy time of it in the opener at Tramore this evening, as he dismissed his three rivals in the EY Chase. A familiar sight at the highest level, the Willie Mullins trained gelding was sent off the clear 2/9 favourite in the colours of Wicklow Bloodstock Limited. Settled in second, the son of Barastraight improved to lead before the second last and a fine jump at the final obstacle sealed the deal, as he kept on well to prevail by three and a quarter lengths. Razoul (5/1), a winner over the course and distance last month, made a dreadful mistake at the first, but recovered quickly and ran a respectable race to take second under Donagh Meyler for Ray Cody. Townend, who had just one ride on the card, said: "I was happy enough to take a lead when we were going a good honest gallop. "He came out of my hands once or twice but I suppose he is used to racing in Grade 1's and needing good jumps everywhere, but today we were dropping back a gear. "I never felt like I was in trouble or anything and he just done enough."
