ERIC HEADS BRITISH CHALLENGE AT THE CURRAGH Bollin Eric has been confirmed a definite starter for the Group 1 Irish Field St Leger by trainer Tim Easterby, and heads a strong British challenge at the Curragh on Saturday.Last season´s Doncaster St Leger winner, who is likely to face six rivals in the 300,000 euro classic, will be accompanied to the Curragh by stable companion Fayr Jag who will run in the Group 3 Ridgewood Pearl Stakes on the same afternoon. Both horses will be partnered by Kevin Darley.Also on course for the ´Ridgewood Pearl´ is the Amanda Perrett-trained Polar Way and Avonbridge trained by Roger Charlton. Chorist has been given the green light to run in Sunday´s Group 3 Irish National Stud Blandford Stakes, 'The horse definitely goes for the race and we are currently finalising her travel arrangements,' said a spokesperson for trainer William Haggis.John Gosden, who is currently at the Keeneland Sales in the USA, has both Place Rouge and Felicity in the Group 3 contest.
