Dream gets home in opener Precious Dream just held on to make all in the opening Students Of Limerick Rated Race. Wayne Lordan cut out the running on the well backed daughter of Mr Greeley (2/1 in morning into 5/4 favourite) and kicked for home two furlongs out. Penniston Line was a strong challenger from over a furlong out, however, and pushed the leader hard in the closing stages. The David Wachman-trained favourite was all out at the death to record a short-head success. "She probably wants faster ground and we'll step her up in trip now," said Wachman. "Wayne gave her a good ride." The winner and runner-up both came into the race having opened their accounts at Dundalk earlier this month. (GC & TW)
