Draycott Place scores for Ryan and Lynch The John Ryan trained Draycott Place (5/2), under Andrew Lynch, proved a game winner of the Limerick GAA Novice Hurdle at Limerick today, rallying well from the last to defeat 11/10 favourite The Plan Man. The son of Oscar made the running and while The Plan Man moved to the front early in the home straight, Draycott Place battled well to edge to the front before the last for a two lengths win. Afterwards Templemore based Ryan stated “he's a proper horse and the only three times he had a clear run and was right, he won.” “Andrew (Lynch) said he hated the ground and he'd love good ground. He's a smashing horse and I might let him off now although there are a few races for him at Tipperary during the summer too. He's a novice for all next season and it was a fair performance beating a hardened Flat performer today.” By Thomas Weekes The John Ryan trained Draycott Place (5/2), under Andrew Lynch, proved a game winner of the Limerick GAA Novice Hurdle at Limerick today, rallying well from the last to defeat 11/10 favourite The Plan Man.
