Doyouthinkso strikes for Flavin Local trainer John Flavin was double-handed in the two-mile handicap hurdle and while 7/2 favourite Brooklyn Balance was disappointing, Doyouthinkso (11/2) landed the spoils under Darragh O'Keeffe. The six year-old, a winner at Dundalk last year, went out after long-time leader Mater Matuta racing down to two out and stayed on well to get past that rival on the run-in. He went on to account for that rival by three and a half lengths with another half a length back to Gaelic Des Chastys. Flavin said: “These (Miracle Racing Syndicate) are the best group of owners that I could ever have. They got this horse before Covid, they stuck with him after he had a few problems and they couldn’t go when he won in Dundalk. “He always runs well around here and delighted for these owners to get a local win for them. Eddie Power was the first man to have a horse with my father and he’s involved. “He hadn’t run in nearly a year and came on a good bit for his last run. They went a right good gallop and I thought at the third last that he’d have a tough job but he’s tough and stays going. We’ll aim him back here if we can.” Quotes from Alan Magee
