Lisabetta finished off best of all to spring a 33/1 surprise under Emma Doyle in the division two of the mile handicap at Dundalk.
She was ridden to make progress a furlong and a half out and was almost on terms at the furlong marker.
She came through to lead in the final 150 yards and went on by a length and a quarter. Brosna Empress was second at 5/1, a neck in front of Clatter Bang (16/1).
This was a family affair as the jockey's mother Claire owns Lisabetta and her father Tim trains the three-year-old filly.
“That was smashing, it was great. She's a consistent little filly and hasn't run a bad race all year,” said trainer Doyle.
“I'm delighted she ran so well here and we'll be back again as she hasn't had a tough campaign so far.
“That's Emma's third winner and she's down to 7lb now. She had her first winner here a couple of years ago. It's just been slow but she's getting better. She got a lovely spin there and did everything right.”
