Foley put it up to his four rivals from the get-go and his mount was game when The Last Marju pressed hard in the closing stages, keeping that opponent at bay by half a length. There was a gap of fifteen lengths back to favourite Papagayo in third. "He's a dosser and the blinkers helped him. He had a couple of good runs and we thought he could even win a maiden.
