The opening The 6th August Ladies Day at Sligo Handicap went to the Mick Flannery trained Diyla who made all to score a 27th seasonal success for jockey Fran Berry.
Afterwards Ballinrobe based publican and winning trainer Flannery stated "Diyla has run well here a few times and is ideal for these country tracks. We have the choice of going back over hurdles now and Fran (Berry) gave her a great ride."
