Not A Bad Oul Day will bid to continue his good record at Gowran as he lines up in the feature on Sunday, the www.gowranpark.ie Handicap.
Twice successful over the course, the Johnny Feane-trained chestnut filled the runner-up spot on his last visit to the Co Kilkenny venue in May.
He since won again at Limerick, and another good effort can be expected from him now with David Simmonson taking a valuable 7lb off.
Club Wexford also won last time out, scoring at Naas on Tuesday last week. The consistent Jim Bolger-trained six-year-old will carry a 6lb penalty but is sure to have plenty of supporters.
Top-weight Mizzah has some smart form to his name, and looks a leading contender, while others to consider are recent course winner Secret Wizard, eight-time victor Ishebayorgrey and handicap debutant Araqeel.
Dermot Weld trains Araqeel, and he appears to have strong claims in the concluding Golf Societies Welcome Race.
The master of Roswell saddles Titus and Massayan, with Pat Smullen opting to partner the former. This son of Dansili won on debut at Leopardstown last October, finishing fifth in a Listed contest at the Curragh on his return to action earlier this month.
Leigh Roche will ride Massayan who has his first start since winning over the course and distance in September.
Other interesting contenders in the nine-furlong contest are the in-foal Dragon Fei and Bolger's Ceol Na Nog.
Bolger is represented by Modern Approach in the Follow Us On Facebook 3yo Handicap, and the daughter of New Approach appears to have solid claims in what looks a wide-open contest.
The Racing Again July 4th Handicap is also confined to three-year-olds and a few for the shortlist are Keep Believing, Shawami and handicap debutants Betty Loch and Panstarr.
Switch In Time and Spanish Steps are the stand-out names in the Join Our Racing Club Maiden, while Leopardstown third Medal Of Honour should run well in the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden.
Quelez, who won at Cork last Sunday, is sure to prove popular in the Festival Of Speed July 16th Handicap, while course specialist Enough Is Enough, three-time winner Rockview Emperor and Bolger's Cool Artist are others leading contenders.
