The sun is beaming down on the Curragh again this morning and not surprisingly the taps will be turned on today ahead of the two-day Guineas meeting this Saturday and Sunday.

The going is currently good (good to firm in places), and watering will take place today on the round course with the weather set fair for the next few days.

Temperatures are set to reach about 23C this afternoon.

Meanwhile watering has already taken place at Cork this morning (ground remains good) ahead of their jumping meeting this evening, with the first on an eight race card getting underway at 5.00pm.
